Arnold Ventures President and CEO Kelli Rhee: Bipartisan reform would accelerate deployment of vital energy and electricity infrastructure.”

Washington, D.C. (December 17, 2024) Kelli Rhee, President and CEO of Arnold Ventures (AV), provided the following statement regarding congressional negotiations on bipartisan permitting reform:

We are profoundly disappointed that Congress did not include an agreement on energy permitting reform in the continuing resolution released today, despite broad bipartisan support. Inadequate energy and electricity infrastructure affects all of us and is urgent as our nation’s energy needs grow. Bipartisan reform would accelerate deployment of vital energy and electricity infrastructure, providing important solutions to meet the energy needs of the future.

We are grateful to Senator Manchin and Senator Barrasso for their leadership. They were thoughtful and tireless champions who embraced bipartisanship throughout the policymaking process.”
