WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 27, 2025) – Veteran government relations executive Hana Greenberg has been appointed Arnold Ventures’ vice president of advocacy, public finance, effective immediately. Greenberg brings experience in both the private and public sectors and will assist in developing the philanthropy’s strategies for building relationships with policymakers at the local, state, and federal levels to support evidence-based policy solutions. 

Hana has a deep understanding of both fiscal policy and its impact on Americans, as well as their employers,” said James Williams, executive vice president of advocacy, communications, and external affairs at Arnold Ventures. Her experience with Fortune 500 companies and high-profile members of Congress bring the type of comprehensive vision needed to address the challenges facing U.S. budget policies.”

Greenberg previously served as the director of government affairs for the Target Corporation and as vice president, tax for the Retail Industry Leaders Association. Before that, she was chief of staff to U.S. Representative Ron Kind, a senior member of the U.S. House Ways & Means Committee. In those positions, Greenberg oversaw policy advocacy initiatives related to international trade, corporate tax structures, and environmental sustainability.

Greenberg earned her Bachelor of the Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, and her Master of Public Policy andAdministration at Northwestern University.
