Statement from Arnold Ventures’ Kelly McManus on Support of the College Transparency Act in the House

For too long, students and families have been trapped in the dark when it comes to understanding what higher education option is right for them. The higher education system has been simultaneously data-rich and information-poor. Today, with a bipartisan vote, the House of Representatives took the first step to change that. Arnold Ventures applauds the members of the House from both sides of the aisle who voted to support the College Transparency Act. It is a common sense policy that has been far too long in coming. We look forward to working with the Senate and the White House to ensure this policy gets signed into law.
