Alissa Clarke
Alissa provides legal support and guidance to a range of philanthropic program areas at Arnold Ventures, including advocacy and policy-related activities.
Prior to joining Arnold Ventures, Alissa was the Ford Foundation Fellow in Nonprofit Law, working with the Ford Foundation’s legal team to provide advice on grantmaking, operations, human resources and investments for program and operations staff across eleven offices worldwide.
She previously worked as an associate at Foley Hoag LLP, supporting both tax-exempt and for-profit clients on a variety of corporate matters, including as a member of the International Trade & National Security Practice Group.
Alissa holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was a Joyce Lowinson Scholar at the Institute for International Law and Justice, and a B.A. with honors in psychology and a certificate in health policy from Harvard University.
