Dina Xie
Dina oversees the strategic and operational management of four Criminal Justice portfolios: Community Supervision, Reintegration, Fines and Fees, and Prison Reform. She serves as a strategic advisor to the vice president of Criminal Justice and partners with senior staff on strategy development, potential investment opportunities, exploratory issue areas, grants management, performance tracking, oversight, and team process management. In this capacity, Dina is responsible for liaising with CJI leadership and teams across Arnold Ventures to ensure coordination, strategic alignment, and staff efficiency.
In her previous role criminal justice analyst at Arnold Ventures, Dina was responsible for designing and implementing processes to streamline proposal development, grants management, and cross-team collaboration, as well as developing strategy briefings, presentations and other visualizations to synthesize strategy updates and new areas of work. Prior to joining Arnold Ventures, Dina served as a congressional intern in the U.S. Senate, where she tracked and reported on legislative developments in both the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and the House Financial Services Committee. She also previously served as a presidential campaign fellow for Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, organizing voters and volunteers in the San Francisco Bay Area and in North Carolina.
Dina graduated from Duke University, where she majored in public policy and minored in economics and German.
