Elaine Wei

Elaine provides strategic and operational support to the Evidence and Evaluation team. In this role she assists in achieving Arnold Ventures’ goals of building out its knowledge base of research-backed social interventions and incorporating evidence into the policymaking process.

Before joining AV, Elaine worked at the Committee for Responsible Federal Budget. In this position, she produced fiscal policy analysis cited by policymakers and media outlets, including the New York Times and CNBC. She has also previously worked on state and local public affairs in the government and private sector.

A proud San Diegan, Elaine received her M.P.A from Columbia University and her B.A. from Barnard College.

In her free time, she volunteers as a high school mentor through Apex for Youth.
