Erica Sayers
Erica Sayers is the Director of Digital Strategy at Arnold Ventures, where she oversees the organization’s digital communications ecosystem.
Previously, Erica was the Global Advocacy & Communications Lead for HeForShe at UN Women, where she owned the HeForShe brand and led global campaigns to engage men and boys in the achievement of gender equality. She also led the coordination of communications efforts across the Private Sector Partnerships team, as well as with country and regional offices to ensure effective message delivery and advance behavioral change contextual to the region.
Prior to UN Women, Erica held leadership roles at creative agencies such as Huge and Code and Theory (formerly Y Media Labs). At Huge, she led teams on communications and digital transformation initiatives for clients like the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid, the U.S. Department of State, and Capital One. At Code and Theory, she oversaw customer experience work for clients in financial services and insurance, including State Farm. Throughout her 10+ years at agencies, her work consistently involved emerging technologies and creating user-focused experiences driven by data.
Erica has an M.A. in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. in International Economic Development from The Ohio State University.
