Jason Alinsky
Jason helps develop and execute the organization’s investment and partnership strategies to advance health care policy priorities at the state level. He researches, analyzes, develops, and manages high-impact health care advocacy projects and investments for AV’s Drug Pricing, Commercial Sector Prices, and the Contraception, Choice, and Access portfolios. He also coordinates and facilitates collaboration between Advocacy team grantees at the state level and across the country.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Jason worked at the federal, state, and local levels for campaigns, in legislatures, for non-profits, and in the private sector. Most recently, he worked on the State Legislative Political Team at the Progressive Turnout Project, establishing and maintaining partnerships with state parties, campaigns, and democratic infrastructure allies in swing states across the Western United States and Pennsylvania. Additionally, he was the Political Research Manager and then State Policy Research Manager at People for the American Way. He is also an alum of Rep. Jamie Raskin’s first congressional campaign and hill staff.
He is originally from outside of Boston, received his master’s in government from Johns Hopkins University, and attended the University of Cincinnati for undergrad. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and their golden retriever puppy Woodley.
