Jason Alinsky

Jason is responsible for developing and executing the organization's investment and partnership strategies to support state-level health care advocacy initiatives, both nationally and state-specific. He conducts research, analysis, and management of high-impact projects across several portfolios, including Prescription Drug Pricing, Commercial Sector Prices, and Contraception, Choice, and Access. Jason also facilitates collaboration among grantees at the state level and across the country.

Prior to joining Arnold Ventures, Jason gained extensive experience working at the federal, state, and local levels across campaigns, legislatures, non-profits, and the private sector. Most recently, he built and maintained partnerships with state parties, campaigns, and democratic mobilization allies in swing states across the Western United States and Pennsylvania at the Progressive Turnout Project. Before that he held roles managing Political Research and State Policy Research at People for the American Way. Earlier in his career, Jason worked on Rep. Jamie Raskin’s first congressional campaign and as a Hill staffer.

A native of the Boston area, Jason holds a master’s in Government from Johns Hopkins University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. He resides in Washington, D.C., with his wife and their golden retriever, Woodley.
