Joshua Jackson
Josh helps identify, develop, and manage criminal justice grants for the policing portfolio, covering topics such as police accountability, gun violence, and violence reduction.
Prior to joining Arnold ventures, Josh worked in the field of legal education, managing grants and producing research on racial and economic barriers to diversity in the legal profession. His personal research included disparities in bar exam passage, academic performance, and effects of law school student loan debt on young lawyers’ personal and professional lives. His research in this field has been published in academic journals, industry whitepapers, and international media outlets. Previously, Josh’s peer-reviewed academic research included articles on police violence, human rights, refugees, and civil and international conflict.
Josh received a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Georgia, and a B.A. in political science from the University of Houston.
