Maggie Houle
Maggie provides strategic and analytic support for the Health Care team’s Drug Pricing and Clinical Trials portfolios. Her work includes policy research and analysis to advance efforts to lower the cost of prescription drugs at the federal and state level.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Maggie worked at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), a nonprofit organization that develops independent analyses on the comparative cost and clinical effectiveness of health care interventions. In this role she managed activities related to ICER’s Policy Leadership Forum, as well as ICER’s cloud-based platform, used by key stakeholders to apply evidence in decision-making around drug pricing and policy.
Maggie received her bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Northeastern University. While studying in Boston, she also completed internships at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and Boston Medical Center, where she established interests in health policy, access and affordability, and quality improvement sciences.
