Sara Ragsdale

Sara helps support the Federal Tax Policy, Program Integrity, and Fiscal Sustainability portfolios for the Public Finance team. Her work focuses on developing research and advocacy projects that enhance economic opportunity and fiscal responsibility through evidence-based policy.

Before joining Arnold Ventures, Sara served as a research fellow at Deakin University, where she analyzed U.S.-Australia strategic political alliances and their policy implications. Prior to that, she worked on a grant for the National Science Foundation studying political misinformation trends. While at George Washington University, Sara served as an effective altruism fellow focusing on developing evidence-based solutions to advance policy outcomes and foster bipartisan cooperation.

Sara holds a bachelors in peace studies and philosophy with a public policy focus from George Washington University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
