Sara Schaumburg
Sara Schaumburg serves as strategic partner and counsel to the Advocacy, Communications, and External Affairs (ACE) leadership team and staff. In this position, she plays a key role in setting and executing the team’s annual and multi-year strategies, working collaboratively with the executive vice president. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Sara served in the office of Sen. Jon Ossoff as chief counsel and staff director for the Senate Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law. She has also worked for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, as an attorney for Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, and as a judicial clerk on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She previously served as staff for Rep. Ed Markey and Rep. Patrick Murphy.
Sara received her law degree from Harvard Law School and her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
