Scott Quinn

Scott serves as Director of External Affairs at Arnold Ventures, where he oversees the organization’s efforts to build and strengthen relationships with policymakers, stakeholders, and external partners. With more than a decade of experience in government affairs, advocacy, and public policy, Scott plays a key role in advancing Arnold Ventures’ mission to champion evidence-based, nonpartisan solutions that improve the lives of all Americans.

Prior to joining AV, Scott served as vice president of government affairs and advocacy at Education Reform Now. In this role, he successfully reorganized, reprioritized, and elevated the organization’s influence with Congress, the White House, and federal agencies, driving critical policy advancements, building champions, and forging strategic partnerships. A recognized leader in education policy, Scott began his career as a teacher and brings a unique perspective shaped by his experiences in the classroom and as a first-generation college student. His deep expertise, commitment to advancing our nation, and unwavering commitment to public service are at the core of his work to create meaningful, systemic change.

Scott holds a bachelor of science in secondary education from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He lives on Capitol Hill, where he enjoys exploring D.C. and cheering on his hometown team, the Clemson Tigers.
