Shatina Wright

Shatina manages and prioritizes full accounts payable cycle from receipt to payment for the Houston, New York, and DC offices. This includes requesting approvals for and processing invoice entries and employee expense reports, as well as providing strategic support to the Accounting and Grants Management Team.

Shatina is an accounting professional with over 15 years of experience working in both corporate and public accounting with a familiarity of currency conversion tables. With a love for numbers, Shatina has an extensive background in internal accounting controls, financial statement analysis, maintaining expense and supplier accounts for a division spanning across seven states with an understanding on types of facilities and operations that are sales tax exempt. Shatina has also served as an On-Site Community Manager where she was directly responsible for day-to-day operations of a homeowner’s association for a six-section subdivision.

Shatina has college accredited hours in accounting at Texas Southern University School of Business. She has also provided volunteer services at the Alief Public Library, and Memorial Hermann Hospital, Southwest.

Shatina has been a swimmer since the age of 5 and enjoys water activities/sports with ‘Marco Polo’ being most favored.
