Governments, companies, and families around the world are dealing with the fallout of precautionary measures necessary help mitigate the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus. Arnold Ventures is doing our part, too.
As of Friday, March 13, all employees have been strongly encouraged to work remotely. This is in effect for our Washington, New York, and Houston offices. Travel has been canceled. Events have been postponed.
Nevertheless, our mission will not be deterred. Arnold Ventures will continue to advance our work in criminal justice, health, education, public finance, democracy, journalism, and other fields — albeit with more videoconferencing. Neither a global pandemic nor precarious financial markets will deter our continued long-term commitment to maximizing opportunity and minimizing injustice.
